BJJ Hertfordshire COACH & STUDENT agreement

The aim of BJJ Hertfordshire is to provide SUPPORT that will ensure PROGRESSION so that you can earn RECOGNITION.

Here is what is expected of the coaches (refered to as ‘we’ below) and students (refered to as ‘you’ below) based on the three pillars BJJ Hertfordshire is built on

SUPPORT:

  • We will
    • Respect and support you to allow you to go outside of your comfort zone
    • Be honest with you
    • Take the positives from every situation
  • You will
    • Respect yourself and others
    • Be honest with yourself and others
    • Take the positives from every situation

PROGRESSION:

  • We will:
    • Set standards, not limitations
    • Deliver structured classes and programs to provide student with an opportunity to progress
    • Where possible provide specific and constructive feedback and instruction
    • Answer questions
  • You will
    • Maintain standards, and attack perceived limitations
    • Listen
    • Ask questions
    • Give your best inside and outside of the gym

RECOGNITION:

  • We will:
    • Recognise your strengths and weaknesses
    • Recognise your successes and failures, using both as opportunities to learn
  • You will:
    • Recognise your strengths and weaknesses
    • Recognise your successes and failures, using both as opportunities to learn

By attending or teaching a class at BJJ Hertfordshire you agree to the above.

Failure for students to do any of the above may result in them being asked to leave the gym, and in extreme asked not allowed to return.

Failure for coaches to do any of the above may result in students being provide a full refund of fees paid.
